Samantha Simmons, born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, grew up surrounded by the arts. Both parents worked in the theatre industry, encouraging Samantha and her sisters to do the same. While none of the sisters pursued the performing arts as a career, Samantha did continue to study visual arts.

Samantha graduated form Arcadia University in 2017 with a BFA in Photography and a minor in Art History and International Studies. After graduating Samantha worked at Lancaster Galleries in Pennsylvania, USA, as a registrar and gallery assistant. Her works have been shown in juried shows across the United States. In 2019 she began her graduate studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, perusing a master’s in Art Logistics. She worked as a tour guide at the 2020 London Art Fair. Samantha lives and works as a Fine Art Photographer and Art Logistics Consultant in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is represented by Lancaster Galleries.

Exhibitions: 2020 SolidArty, Sotheby’s Institute of Art Online Charity Auction to support Doctors Without Borders hosted by invaluable; 2017 Spring FotoFilmic Shortlist show in Vancouver, Canada; the Color Photography Now exhibition at the Black Box Gallery, Portland OR, Teaching Photography: A Conversation at SPEMA, Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA; Demuth Museum Charity Invitational Auction in Lancaster, PA, the 56th and 57th Community Art Exhibition at the Lancaster Museum of Art, Lancaster, PA, and has been in multiple group shows at Lancaster Galleries, Lancaster, PA.
